Hi, my name is Keishla.

I am 22 years old and about 3 weeks ago I found out that I was pregnant with my second child. My one year old daughter was actually the one who told me that I was pregnant. She pointed to my belly one day and said “baby, baby, baby.” Isn’t it crazy how they can know before you?
Now I’m going to be completely honest, when I found out I was pregnant again I CRIED.
Not tears of joy. I was SCARED. Scared because my first pregnancy wasn’t all unicorns and rainbows. I sat down on the bathroom floor and cried for about 30 minutes before I called my husband to tell him that I was pregnant. We both felt like we weren’t ready to have another child but it was happening and we had to hop on board this baby train fast because the “side effects” started.
I have the worst nausea and vomiting I’ve ever experienced, literally the WORST. I lost 10 pounds in TWO WEEKS!!! I went from 129 pounds to 119 pounds.
I am now on FOUR medications to help with the nausea and vomiting. The the vomiting has slowed down a lot this nausea just doesn’t want to go away. But I wouldn’t be able to make it this far if it wasn’t for the amazing support team that I have not just at home but at work too. I’m 7 weeks and 5 days now so you’re really going to see this pregnancy journey from the very beginning.
WE’RE HAVING A BABY!!!
